GUEST RULES AND REGULATIONS<\/p>\n

WELCOME TO AMANDA RESORT, KAKAMEGA.<\/p>\n

Please read with the following rules and regulations which are obligatory for all our guests. We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the hotel, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviors, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.<\/p>\n

Guests will be charged per night for their stay at the hotel.
\nCheck-in time is 2p.m. on the day of arrival and the check-out time is \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10a.m. on the day of<\/p>\n

departure. Early check in and late check out is subject to room availability.<\/p>\n

If upon check-in the guest does not specify the duration of his or her stay the hotel will
\npresume it is for one night.
\nGuests wishing to check out later than 10a.m are kindly requested inform the reception desk 2<\/p>\n

hours earlier before check out time. This however is subject to room availability, otherwise it will be charged for one additional night.<\/p>\n

It is Mandatory for all customers and their visitor guests to share their ID cards. Foreign<\/p>\n

Nationals are required to present their passport and valid visa.<\/p>\n

The maximum occupancy for each room type must be adhered to. For children older than 7
\nyears old or additional guest additional charges will be incurred for an extra bed and other
\nmeals where applicable. Baby cot can be provided to a child under 2 years old upon request. 7. Bills may be settled through our available payment channels, personal cheques are however
\nnot accepted.
\nSmoking is only allowed at designated arears.
\nRemoving items from guest rooms or moving them to other places in the hotel is strictly<\/p>\n

prohibited.<\/p>\n

When not being used, do not touch the fire extinguisher.
\ninviting strangers into the guest rooms, to use the facilities and or amenities is prohibited. For
\nsecurity reason, joiner must register at reception before entering the room.
\nHanging of any items in guest room windows that might ruin the beauty of our hotel
\nappearance is prohibited.
\nOrdering and delivery of food from outside our hotel is prohibited.
\nPets of any kind are strictly not allowed into the Hotel premises.
\nWeaponry of any kind, shape or form is strictly prohibited within the hotel premises with the
\nexception of mandated security officers who have to declare their firearms at the security
\ncheck in.
\nInstallation of any foreign item in to guest rooms or any part of our building is prohibited.
\nUse of phones in guest rooms will be charged to your bill.
\nGuests wishing to extend their stay beyond the date given while checking in are kindly asked to
\ninform our reception before 10:00 a.m. on the original departure date.
\nExtension of your stay without reservation is subject to room availability.
\nUsing photographs and video’s taken in the hotel for commercial or public purposes is illegal.
\nThose who do so will be subject to prosecution.
\nNo guest is allowed to give up his or her room to be used by third parties even if the room has
\nbeen duly paid for.
\nGambling or any other behavior that is against public morals in the hallways or guest rooms is
\nprohibited.
\nAny damage should be reported to our reception immediately after it becomes apparent.
\nThe use of guest rooms or the lobby as an office is prohibited.
\nBringing illegal items, exotic plants or animals is prohibited.
\nDurian or anything that causes bad smell is strictly not allowed in the hotel.
\nGuests and other individuals using the hotel services are asked to make sure their conduct
\nshould not disturb other guests. The hotel may refuse its services to individuals who violate
\nthis rule.
\nGuests are expected to lock their rooms properly to prevent access of third parties. Upon
\nleaving their rooms guests must close and lock the doors and windows. The Management will
\nnot in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss \/ or damage to the Guest’s belongings
\nor any other property from either the hotel room or the locker or any other part of the hotel
\nfor any cause whatsoever including theft of pilferage.
\nGuests are expected to keep all the equipment and furniture in their rooms free from damage.
\nGuests shall be liable for any damage or loss of any equipment or furniture in the rooms up to
\nthe cost of repair or replacement.
\nUnwashable stains, rips or tears on linens or towels will be charged to your bill.
\nIn case of loss or damage of key card Kshs.1000 will be charged in the room bill.
\nitems left behind by a guest will be sent on demand by post at the guest’s expense to any
\naddress the guest may specify. If not specifically instructed the hotel will store such items for<\/p>\n

15 days and then donate them to a charitable cause.<\/p>\n

Children must always be supervised by an adult and the hotel will not be held liable for any
\ninjuries or incidences where this is not adhered to.
\nFamiliarize yourself with the hotel’s emergency procedures, exits, and evacuation routes
\nprovided in the hotel website.
\nGuests must comply with all our Kenyan laws during their stay.
\nGuest will be expected to adhere to all other rules provided in other areas of the hotel such as
\nthe swimming pool, gym, restaurant and the spa.<\/p>\n
